Construction & Engineering

We assist our clients throughout every stage of a project’s life cycle from planning to warranty period, in all types of building, construction, and infrastructure projects.
At DE Advokatbyrå, we master the industry’s various standard terms and contract models and help you navigate among the different forms of contracting, remuneration structures and collaboration models.
In addition to drawing up contracts, we support our clients with contract negotiations, general advice, and act as a sounding board regarding Construction law issues.
We assist our clients with contractual issues relating to various types of engineering consultants, such as architects and constructors.

Real Estate

At DE Advokatbyrå, we assist our clients with property acquisitions and land allotments, development agreements, and implementation agreements. In larger projects, we often support with cooperation agreements between various relevant developers and authorities.
We provide advice and guidance in planning and building permit issues and support with applications and appeals. If property formation measures are required, we maintain the necessary contacts with the cadastral authority.
We assist in the negotiation and preparation of commercial lease agreements, ground leases and other types of land leases such as contractual easements and site leaseholds.
When agreements are to be extended or terminated, we provide advice and guide our clients.
We also have experience of expropriation and other compulsory purchases.

Dispute Resolution

We handle disputes of different kinds within our business areas. Representing our clients in arbitration proceedings, as well as litigation in general courts, administrative courts or through arbitration inspection.
Disputes can often be resolved without the formal procedures. We assist our clients in conciliation negotiations and mediation.

Education

We regularly hold training sessions for clients in Construction, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution. In addition to this, we also support educational companies as guest lecturers in our specialist areas.

After gaining my high school engineer diploma, I worked for a few years at various construction companies, mainly building homes and public premises. When I later studied to become a lawyer, it only felt natural to focus on the areas in which I had practical experience. I see my background as a great asset and I’m happy that I decided to proceed within this legal area.
